It's not funny when people don't take advice. Especially when it comes to things like this. I say THINGS because this is not a human spirit. This is something else. She calls herself Cindy, and she has fake memories, meaning, she is smart enough to figure out how we get into the memory bank of a spirit and she PUT FAKE MEMORIES in there for us to find. It was a lot like how you determine if a photograph is AI or not: look for extra fingers, look for things that feel out of place, etc. Anyway, we did all that, and we sold this doll to a friend of ours who was into demonic and scary vessels, about 5 years ago. I got her back about a month before we left for Minnesota last year. My friend had finally had enough. She realized that some spirits are not for everybody. Cindy is not for everybody. She spooks me out, which isn't hard to do, but she scared the pants off Mike and that IS hard to do. My demonology guy down in Tucson said she was "complicated" and did not want to keep her, and that's WEIRD. So here we are. I can't have her going to someone who has no idea what they are doing. We got this doll from a guy who found it at a park sitting on a bench. He was immediately scared of it and thought he should take it home to keep others safe from it. He knew something was really wrong with it, but he kept it at his house even though he was terrified of it, and felt that it had a strong control over his mind. He told us it "was invading his dreams" and as time went on he felt like "the thing was invading his personal thought space and controlling his mind" and he asked us if he could send it in. Weeks went by and no doll, so we contacted him. He told us that he had been influenced by this thing and was scared to put it in a box to send it to us. So we talked him through it on the phone and did not get off the phone with him until he had taken it to a UPS store. I regretted it the moment we hung up. I could feel it coming closer in the following days. I could sense the dread coming for my house. Freaky feeling. There is something different about this vessel. There is no human to bond with, no soul to get to know. This is a strange spirit that does not conform to what we are used to. The usual rules for spiritkeeping, hell, even for paranormal evaluation, don't really apply to this vessel. It put false memories in for us to find. Trying so hard ot appear human. It feels like there is a dark force in there. Something terrible. "Cindy" should not go to any newbie. It's got some weird psychological powers that require experience to navigate. She/it can get into your thoughts, and not in the normal spirit-telepathy way, but in a strange violation of your sovereign space kind of way. This thing has both fascinated and frightened me at the same time. "Cindy" can be draining, emotionally, physically, and mentally. It feels like it is feeding off your living energy. We have gotten a lot of activity from Cindy, kinetic energy, disembodied voices, strange and scary visions, and dreams where we feel like we are puppets on a string, belonging to who-knows-what/who. Cindy is a weird being and whoever adopts this thing must be aware that it could be dangerous in the wrong hands. She looks cool and spooky on the shelf, but she's creepy.
