Why does it take us up to 2 or even 3 years to evaluate a vessel? Here is why:
Evaluations are a long process, it takes months, usually years, and it takes everyone in our group because we all compare notes at the end. We start with the vibe, the energy, our gut feeling. if we sense something there, we pull out the tools. We use EMF meters, dowsing rods, the pendulum, and then into a soundproof box for EVP recordings. After about a week of EVP recordings - mike does the data work to filter out the background noise and see if there are any words there. We use the Estes Method with a PSB-7 Spirity box, and that seems to work very well for us. We all take turns with the vessel, sometimes a week or two (or MONTHS at a time) for each person in our group. We use meditational telepathy, we use ESP, we use Lucid dreaming techniques, we use every method we have as individuals to try to reach the spirit. We all keep separate notes with what we find, and then lastly, we put the spirit on the Ouija. If our notes, the EVPs, and the Ouija are all going in the right direction (harder than it sounds) then we feel it is worthy to be listed in the shop. If there are any discrepancies at all, it goes in the "vintage section" or on aBay and usually we will put "possibly haunted" or "potentially haunted" on the vintage dolls who failed our tests. We only put a vessel in the haunted section if they have passed ALL of our tests. Once they get into the haunted section, that means we are confident enough that they will show themselves to other people. And even then, there is no guarantee.
