About a year ago, Lisa sent me a HUGE freight box of vessels she had in Egypt with her that she could not display or have in her house, they had been sitting in storage for years.  I went to the freight co and picked it up, there were hundreds of dolls and other items in there.  My team and I have been working on them for the past year.  Ivy is one who stood out to me.  Back when Lisa lived in the USA she would have Ivy displayed with a lot of old toys and a fluffy little English Setter stuffed dog.  The stuffed dog has since been lost.  Ivy is mad about it too.  Ivy is the real deal in terms of AMAZING VESSELS.  She is a real signed Jumeau Déposé Bébé French Repro on a vintage Real Seeley composition body.  She would've cost a fortune just to make her.  She has a real mohair wig and her dress is entirely handmade, sewn linen.  She has underclothes and blown glass eyeballs.  She is amazing. Lisa had originally got her from a woman in Leeds, England.  The doll had been given to her and when "things began to happen" she had no idea what to do.  She contacted a friend who contacted Lisa and the rest is history. That was over a decade ago.  Lisa and Ivy became fast friends.  Lisa was able to discern that Ivy was the daughter of a Seaman, a First Mate on the SS Princess Sophia.  She and her family were traveling with their father when the ship went down.  The ship ran aground on a reef outside of Juneau, Alaska.  It was a harrowing 48 hours waiting for rescue, but in the end, a storm blew in and tossed the ship.  There were no survivors.  Ivy has some terrible memories of those last moments.  Imagine how terrifying it would be back in 1918, before proper navigation tools on ships, to run into a reef, and be stuck onboard the damaged ship because it was too dangerous to get close enough for rescue boats.  And too cold to jump in the water.  Her memories of that situation really overshadow the memories of the rest of her life.  But we do know that she and her family were upper middle class, well respected, a sea-faring family.  They had a good education, they had an au pair who traveled with them to help the mother with all the children.  Father was First Mate so he was working most of the time, and they rarely traveled with their father, but this was a special trip.  They had been planning to move to Juneau.  Sometimes when we communicate with Ivy, we feel a cold that is colder than we have ever known.  It's like she is sharing how cold it was that night, stuck on the water of a ship with no working boilers, while the wind and snow battered them to death.  COLD.  I have tried to find out how she entered the vessel, if she was conjured into it, or entered it voluntarily - we think it was voluntary, but she doesn't like to speak of it much because she is in denial that she is dead.  She thinks she is just as alive as anyone else.  Even though she has shown us her death in the cold water over and over.  I think she must think that because she exists now and is able to talk to us, she must be ALIVE.  And that makes sense, especially to a 12-year-old girl.  Ivy was the middle child, she had an older sister and a younger brother.  She loves animals but doesn't like to be dirty AT ALL like you better use a lint brush and a duster on her once a month.  She hates to have anything dirty on her.  No cat hair, no dog hair, no dust.  She also likes to be in a clean area.  We are hoarders and very messy people, but we kept her little area spotless.  She says she wants to go somewhere cleaner and nicer than here, and tbh I don't blame her, so do I! LOL Ivy is extremely telepathic, she can pop right into your head, so be aware of that.  She has a ton of kinetic energy.  She can change channels.  She gives off a lot of glittery orbs and distorts the light when I photograph her.  She is full of electric energy.  She is a powerhouse.  And she likes to be around other child spirits.  Ivy communicates well using a pendulum, an Ouija board, or the PSB7 Spirit Box.  She is a unique kid with an interesting perspective on history.  If you a history buff, you will love her.  She knows so many little things from the early 1900s, like what candy was popular: Necco Wafers, Charms, and Cherry Mash.  She is amazing, and her vessel is WOW.  

About the Doll: Her body is jointed Seely composition. Her clothing is entirely handmade: linen, underclothing is silk, and she has socks and real leather shoes.  She is marked on the back of the head. Her eyes are hand-blown glass paperweights.  Her bisque face is meticulously hand-painted.  She will come with a stand. Her dress alone is very valuable, and she is wearing a matching hat and has a mohair Global Wig on.  

ABOUT Jumeau: Pierre-François Jumeau (1811-1895) originally partnered with a man named Louis-Désiré Belton (1805-1846) to form Belton &  Jumeau in 1841, by 1845 the partners dissolved the business and went their separate ways. In 1872 Jumeau finished building its porcelain factory in Montreuil. Second son, Emile-Louis Jumeau (1843-1910), and his wife Ernestine Ducruix began taking over the business in 1874, the transfer was completed when his father retired in 1878. In 1899 Jumeau became a member of the SFBJ - Société Française de Fabrication de Bébé & Jouets until its demise in 1958. Many of Jumeau's dolls are considered works of art.
