Milly HATES her full name, Mildred, she said it sounds like Mildew, and she's not wrong.  She is bitter as hell about being named that.  She swears her mother named her that because she hated her for not being a boy.  She thinks the name is not only mean-spirited but done on purpose just to hurt her.  She actually obsesses over the fact that her mother was so willfully cruel to her.  Again, she is not wrong.  Her mother was a horrible person.  I'd like to think that naming her was not done out of cruelty, because back then, Mildred WAS a popular girl name.  But after hearing how cruel her mother was in other ways, I can't help but side with Milly on this.   Milly has a giant mother wound and needs a lot of support.  I think she does well with people who understand her and can relate to her.  Her mother really hated her.  She was a mean woman, to begin with, but the abuses she put on her child are over the top.  Milly was burned with boiling water, she was beaten with wooden spoons, and she was locked in closets.  Her father said nothing.  He was a weak man.  They both drank too much.  Her father worked and would come home later and later until he never came home again.  When that happened her mother became even worse.  Milly spent her teenage years being berated for "dressing like a whore" even though she was not doing that, and worse, she would get locked into her room while her mother would threaten to burn the house down with her inside of it.  The only place she was allowed to go was to church.  The minister would come to the house and see the abuses, and then he and her mother would talk and drink together.  At one point, the minister suggested an exorcism to "get rid of the demons" that Milly NEVER HAD.  Luckily, that was never approved by the church.  Milly strongly suspected that her mother and the minister were sleeping together.  The night she took her own life, the minister had been over and she heard her mother lock her bedroom door from the outside so she could not get out.  Her window had long been nailed shut when she was still a small child.  She had a bathroom and she crawled in the tub.  Never got out.  She wrote a very detailed letter and she thinks her mother threw it away before any authorities could read it.  She says her mother has been dead a long time, but she never got any closure.  I think this doll belonged to her.  It feels so strong, very much like those vessels who have real human hair, and that strong DNA sensation.  She has that.  I feel terrible for Milly.  My team did not like having her around, they felt she was "too religious" and that tends to make things spookier for some people.  No doubt hearing bible verses being whispered in the dead of night CAN be freaky.  So, just be aware she was raised differently that's all.  I need her to go to a loving and caring home.  She doesn't like using the Ouija, as she says it goes against her religion.  You can feel she is strongly conflicted about her religious upbringing, as anyone would be living under the iron hand of her mother.  She knows her mother was a bad woman, but she still feels like she must've done something to deserve how her mother treated her.  I have told her over and over again that some women are just mean and evil.  Her mother is one of those.  Milly does love EVPs and using the PSB7.  She likes to pull books out of the bookcase.  She likes to move things and sing loudly.  She is very direct.  VERY direct. Biblical passages, like in Psalms, are her favorite triggers for communication.  She likes religious icons and rosaries.  She can seem creepy, but just get to know her.  She deserves a loving home too.
