Emma Haunted Doll ~ 22" OOAK Porcelain Handmade Bisque Vessel ~ Paranormal ~ Very Friendly ~ Mischievious ~ Physically Active ~ Telepathic

I really love Emma.  She is BIG and heavy, and she can stand up on her own if you have a safe place for her, but I like to keep her in a doll stand because she is SO heavy.  Her body is weighted.  This girl is EXPRESSIVE.  just look at her photos.  If you are doing something, or talking to her, and she takes her fingers out of her mouth, it's a clear sign you said something she likes (or dislikes!) LOL. Emma came to live with us about 8 years ago when her caregiver, our friend, died.  We had made arrangements with our friend's husband to take and rehome a handful of her vessels, and we did - but Emma stayed.  I think we all got really attached to her.  Emma is very active, very loud, and talkative.  Older than she looks too.  I think she was 10 or 11 when she died.  She is a busybody and loves to get up in everyone's business. She likes to feel like she is a part of your real life.  A part of your real family.  Emma died of some polio-related illness in the 1950s.  She had spent a few years inside of an iron lung.  Her parents had 4 other children and had a farm to run, so she was left at the hospital under the care of the doctors there.  This was not uncommon for lower-class families.  She spent a few years at the hospital and her family would visit for holidays.  When it became apparent that she was not getting better, her mother and older sister came to stay with her until the end.  they played card games and sang songs together.  She really enjoyed that time with her mother.  Emma began coughing up blood and was then placed on an opium or morphine type medication which only helped to hasten her death.  Emma has no bad memories or imagery of her family.  She knows she was loved.  She doesn't have any trauma from that.  She knows she was sick.  Emma just did not want to leave Earth when she had the chance.  She wanted to "stick around" and "see what's going on with everyone".  She is a typical mischievous young girl of her era.  She loves the Beatles, Elvis, and the Monkeys.  She loves TV from the 50s.  Music.  All of it.  She loves to get gumballs and old fashioned candies as trigger items.  Emma is a fun one.  You can tell just by looking at her.  She is a sweet girl and a lot of fun.  I love how sarcastic she can be, and she JUMPS right into your head.  Her telepathy is on-point.  She makes an excellent big or little sister.  I think Emma was a gifted kid when she was alive, perhaps an indigo child or a child psychic.  She needs to be in a home where her gifts are nurtured.  She is special.  Emma will light up your life.
