Göta was originally found in Sweden.  She is an Älva. She was conjured by a witch we know who practices a strange form of ancient Ice magick under the northern lights.  I find her to be fascinating.  She gave this vessel to Lisa, who then gifted her to me because I fell in LOVE with her.  If you do not know about what a Swedish Älva is, they are technically ELVES and they hate to be mistaken for fairies.  Elves are elves and fairies are fairies, just ask the Norse or the Celts, who have famously had wars between their elves and fairies in the past.  Swedish Älva are every bit as proud to be Älva as any other Elven race.  Elves always think they are superior to Fae (but to me, they seem like the same species).  Älva are powerful, respected creatures in Sweden.  They are known for helping lost skiers get down the mountains.  They help children find safety when they are lost.  They help animals who get hurt or sick.  They are known for whispering cures into the healers' ears. This seems to be the theme of all Älva.  Göta is the same way.  She has a thing for love, too.  She does a bit of matchmaking when she can.  She does a bit of cupid-work as she calls it.   Göta should be adopted by someone who understands and respects her unique Elven heritage.  She is different from a fairy - a bit more sly and cunning, especially when it comes to love and romance.  Älva are, by nature, otherworldly, beautiful, and seductive residents of forests, meadows, and mires.   They are skilled in magick and illusions.  Sometimes they are described as similar to small fairies, sometimes as full-sized women and sometimes as half-transparent spirits, or a mix thereof.  They are very powerful spirits closely linked to forest magic.  Göta is an enchantress, a direct connection to Freyja, the goddess associated with love, beauty, fertility, gold, and magick.  Göta has a thing for attracting lovers, and she is usually pretty good about making sure they are keepers.  She is a very passionate person, and she wants others to be as she is - free, wild, and full of love and light to share.  She talks openly about the Æsir Gods and Goddesses - and the magick they create when they make love - and she knows we can all find that same passion.  Göta takes her role as "Master of all Illusions" quite literally as can be seen by the incredible predictive dreams and imagery she shares with us.  She is the most powerful during deep trance meditations and should be adopted by someone who will commune with her in that way every once in a while.  Göta brings love and light wherever she goes. She is super positive, even when warning us about bad stuff, she keeps it positive and I love that.  I need that.  She is amazing to work with, even if you are not into the Norse pantheon, she helps us to be happy and healthy and we all seem to really need that lately.  Göta absolutely feels ALIVE.  Her eyes are alight, she has a presence to her that feels like we are sitting next to a cosmic being.  A ray of light in a darkened world.  Göta is highly kinetic - she has a static-electric vibe to her that is literally shocking, when we touch her, the hair stands up on end.  She can be intense when things are serious, but she is still always positive.  She is highly intelligent.  She will use telepathy if she thinks we are not "seeing" or "hearing" her.  Göta does very well with runes, bones, trance meditation - and other ancient types of divination methods. She is one of the spirits who can keep us engaged for hours, be it with telepathy, dreamscapes, or other means of communication. She loves that sex magick, so if you are into that, creating spells, potions whatever - she wants to be involved.  Runes, herbs, dried flowers, rose quartz, and anything relating to Seiðr are totally appropriate offerings for Göta.  She can speak multiple languages, and her telepathy (popping into your head unannounced) can be quite shocking and powerful if you are not ready.  She is very fast on the Ouija and can spend long hours on the pendulum. Göta needs to have a spirit keeper who is ready to learn from her and who truly needs her positivity and her light.  She is unique and amazing.
