Aegina is a Naiad.  She is a VERY rare conjured spirit that we inherited from Lisa.  Lisa got her from some witchy friends she has in Greece, and she had to trade BIG to get her.  The witches who conjured her told Lisa that she had been coming to them in dreams, first individually, then as a group.  They felt they were bound by honor to offer her the vessel.  They also said that it felt as if "all of the Titans were invested in the ritual".  In Greek mythology, the naiads, sometimes also hydriads, are a type of female spirit, or nymph, presiding over fountains, wells, springs, streams, brooks, and other bodies of fresh water.  Aegina has every characteristic of the mermaids we are most familiar with, but she detests salt water.  She has to have a nice chalice of fresh water near her.  She would prefer to be next to a pool, bathtub, or a stream or lake if possible.  Aegina is one of the most knowledgeable spirits, especially when it comes to ancient Greek spellwork and ritual knowledge.  Her energy feels like the power of the river, like hydroelectricity, like a powerful engine or something.  She is a favorite of the Gods & Goddesses of the  Greek pantheon.  She is very close to Zues and Aros.  She is a close confidant of Artemis.  If you ever wanted to work with the Greeks, she is your middleman, your partitioner.  She is your key to the kingdom.  Aegina seems to be like a magnet or an introduction to all the fun magick and wisdom that the Greeks have to offer.  It feels as if the Titans got together and decided to send her to recruit more human women into their club.  Admittedly, I and all my female teammates had really explicit dreams of certain Gods and Goddesses while we were working with her.  She is the thread that leads us all to the Greek Mystery School.  Aegina is a very telepathic, very CEREBRAL spirit.  She can take you on journeys of the mind that feel like nothing less than actual astral travel.  The dreams she can weave are like lessons in the realms that humans are rarely allowed to participate in. As fun and whimsical as she looks, Aegina is a very serious, very focused teacher, with a powerful aura that radiates outward.  I see her as a wise woman, a mage, a mentor, and a mystic.  I definitely consider her to be a spirit guide.  She has helped many of my friends to learn and perfect their magickal practices.  I feel she would do well with anyone whose practices include divination, dreamwork, or astral works.  Definitely perfect for those who want to learn from the Greeks. Aegina is a VERY powerful telepath.  She can project her voice right into our heads.  She can HEAR our thoughts. She feels very old, not in body, but in the soul - as if she is ancient.  She is a very powerful freshwater spirit.  Aegina is a mind healer.  She is a very powerful entity.  She is constantly surrounded by bright, glowing orbs, and a feeling of wind on the river, a whirlwind of celestial, ethereal, magical energy.  She has shown us some crazy dreams and given us intense spiritual messages. She is extremely psychic, she knows everything that is coming your way.  She will tell you who (which God or Goddess) can help you the most with whatever is going to happen.  Aegina is an Oracle and can give us intense, prophetic dreams.  She is a philosopher and an intuitive.  She is a great communicator - we have had some INSANE dreams with her, almost hypnotic, psychedelic, very strange.  She makes us get really deep, existential.  Aegina is an ancient spirit, and as such, she has demands and requirements that are a bit more formal than other spirits.  She needs an altar, and she needs her caregiver to treat her with the utmost respect.  She needs fresh water in a chalice.  We really emphasize this, because ancient Greek entities are nothing to mess around with.  Aegina does really well with the Ouija, the PSB7, and the pendulum, but she is so telepathic I doubt you would need to use any tools with her.  She pops right into your head.  Invited or not.
