Anders is a very dapper and funny gentleman.  He died at sea and has no problem telling and showing us about it.  He died in 1898, and he inhabited this vessel in the 1960s.  Before that, he had clung to the docks where he was supposed to end up, but the ship went down.  We got him from a woman in New England who had found the vessel in a home she had bought to remodel.  She tried for about a year to take care of him.  She was very open to the doll being haunted, but she was not ok with communicating with him.  She began to feel like he was sad that she would not talk to him.  She did not like the dreams, because her father had also been lost at sea when she was younger.  Anders was just trying to show her what happened to him.  He was reaching out to communicate with her but she was not comfortable with it.  Her daughter told her to send the vessel to us.  We loved him from day one.  He shares the smell of the eastern ocean with us!  Cold, wet, windy, and kinda spooky, to be honest.  The fishermen who frequent those waters are the bravest in the world.  At least, that's what Anders likes to say.  And they would have to be because what he shows us is terrifying.  Winter storms, hurricane-force winds, and these men are just continually going back out there.  Anders had a fishing ship called Blessed Grace.  he had inherited the boat from his father, who had come to America from Norway many years prior.  Anders was a great fisherman, just as all the men in his family had been.  He was married with 4 children, and he says his wife was the most beautiful woman any man had ever seen.   He called her his "siren" and it made her mad, but she always laughed.  Anders is highly communicative, and even though he can not spell words very well, he gets his point across perfectly.  He told us he would've learned to read and spell better had he needed to, but he "knew enough to fill out his logs and do the math for his business, and that's all anyone needs".   Anders does share a lot of sea-worthy dreams, big fish catches, scary moments in his memories, and also, the night the ship went down.  To be honest, that dream is pretty scary.  But he is never trying to frighten us, he just wants us to see what he went through.  Anders told us that he has seen what his family has become and he is "pleased with it".  He has watched his ancestry since his passing and he is proud of who his descendants have become.  He has fishermen, businessmen and women, and lots of children in his long line of descendants.   We asked if he ever tries to contact his living family, and he said something that no other spirit has ever said to us.  He said "it is against the rules" WHAT??? What rules? and who made these rules???  He would never explain further and trust me, we asked a million times.  I find him to be one of the most interesting male viewpoints we have known.  He was a father, a husband, and a fishing captain, and when asked about how he was in the community, he said, "I never made my wife mad, but I did make the neighbors talk".  He likes to share his life story and is very proud of his family, his fishing boat, and all of his "fish tales" (and we do not know if they are all true, he said he fought a Kraken-type sea monster!).  Anders is a kind and funny man. like a funny grampa, a good person, and a very active ghost.  He loves to tell his fishing stories and share dreams with us.  He is an amazing Dreamweaver and he can share snippets and dreamscapes of his memories.  He has a lot of kinetic energy, lots of movements, noises, and temperature changes, and has even shared the sounds of bar songs and battle cries.  He does well with the pendulum, the Ouija is so-so (remember he can't read or write very well), and he does great with the PSB-7 and various apps and EVP/EMF devices.

This doll came from Lisa's personal collection. She has curated her dolls from around the world. Some were picked up while she was on assignment overseas, and some were given to her. Some of them called out to her from second-hand shops. She studies them carefully and observes them for months before making any final assessments of their personality or behavior. Lisa's collection of Haunted and Enchanted dolls is some of the most intriguing in the world.
