Antonella is a trip.  I could have SWORN that I had put her in the shop MONTHS ago.  I would have bet money that she was already in the shop.  So when she appeared in the office after having been gone for months, I had thought she was in the back room, where all the listed dolls wait for adoption.  I could have sworn that I put her there, Mike swears that he saw her there, and even my mother says she KNOWS for a fact that she was in the back room.  So WHY did she end up in the office the other day, looking as if someone had placed her right next to the photo booth?  My poor husband is convinced that the spirits are messing with him.  Besides Antonella, a few other vessels in the house have really been tripping him out lately.  Moving around, messing with our minds.  It's like the house has blown up in activity since Christmas morning when that old grey 8-point buck walked through our yard alone.  Things have been weird since before then, actually.  But Antonella has really made us all feel as if we are losing our minds.  I found her in the bathroom day before yesterday.  Then my mom woke up at 6 am 2 days ago screaming "that's not funny Kathryn" and you know you're in trouble when mom uses your full name.  Apparently, Antonella was on the kitchen countertop next to the coffee.  We never put dolls in the kitchen, too much risk of getting dirty or broken.  Mom was mad.  She had said that Antonella had creeped her out just days before so she thought we would be mean and try to scare her. Let me tell you, it was way scarier knowing that NOBODY had touched her and she just ended up there on her own.  It's not like the dogs could grab her she is in a doll stand, and her dress is silk, so you'd be able to see any dog teeth marks.  Anyways, months ago, when I SWEAR I listed her in the shop, we had a really strange feeling in the house, and I think there was a storm that day.  I remember having technical difficulties.  But I guess she either never got listed, or she took herself OUT of the shop because I have NO record of her being listed back then.  At this point, I am not surprised.  I remember when we got her, I thought she was a bit strange.  Lisa got her from a friend in Italy, someone who usually sends us witchy types and strange beings.  She told us that Antonella was "just a wife who had been murdered by her husband".  Well, that's an understatement for real.  Nobody is JUST a murdered wife. Antonella was a wife of a shady businessman, probably mafia or something similar.  He had her killed so he could move forward with his side chick.  This was in the late 1950s.  It was a stain on her reputation to have this happen.  She had bore him 2 children, and they had planned on many more.  Then the betrayal came.  Antonella is angry still, of course.  But she doesn't seethe unhappiness.  She has a sassy sarcastic quick wit, and that energy that reminds us she's a mobster's wife.  She is funny, and she asks for gin and tonics.  She asks for cigarettes.  And her eyes can drill a hole inside a person.  Antonella is very good at mind games, and not in a bad way, exactly.  She can make you think of her all day long.  She can force herself into your dreams.  She has a lot of baggage, for sure, but she is not evil.  She is VERY active, and sometimes she feels like the debutante she was as a teen, and sometimes she feels like the shady partner of her equally shady man.  She learned a lot from him and her own father and mother.  I think her father was just like her husband, and her mother had her own coping skills for him that Antonella definitely picked up.  Heavy drinking as a coping mechanism.  Mother's little helper's pills were a close second.  Antonella will get her own way, one way or another, she gets what she wants.  I feel like she was not ready to leave back when I first listed her.  She did not want to get listed.  And now she does.  She has made that very clear.  You have to understand that this woman can be very judgy and really sarcastic.  Think of her with her martini in her hand and a cigarette in the other, looking you up and down and deciding if she wants to talk to you.  That was my first impression and I am sure it will be yours as well.  She gets bored and wants to get attention, so she will move her vessel or steal your stuff and put it somewhere else.  Nothing big, just like picture frames, figurines, and pens.  She has shown herself looking like Bridgette Bardot with sunglasses.  She has a strange wavering aura and often changes her facial expressions visibly.  She has said words loud enough, in Italian and English, to be heard without any tools.  She is highly communicative, especially in dreams and telepathy.  She is kinetic, meaning there are lots of electrical disturbances with her - static, radio changes, etc.  Plus she is amazing with the PSB7 spirit box and the pendulum.  Antonella needs to be in a home where she can be treated as if she is as important as she thought she was back in the day.  She thinks of herself as a kind of VIP, and she appreciates flattery, so bring her gifts and tell her how beautiful she is.  She responds well to that.  

About the doll:  She is an antique 1960s hard plastic fashion doll, a Furga doll, about 18" tall.  She will come with a doll stand,  She is a collector's item, made in Italy.
