Charlotte almost makes me uncomfortable to write about her.  She is a very strange girl.  OLDER than she looks, about 26 years old when she died.  She was a homewrecker in her day.  We got her from a friend in Dallas who had found her in a rental they were cleaning.  She could sense the doll was haunted but she was scared to find out by whom.  We get that a lot.  So she sent her in and we quickly learned that she was quite physically active, especially in terms of touching and sexual energies.  Our friend did not want her back after what we experienced with her, so she asked us to rehome her.  I promised I would get her in on Monday but I forgot and she got mad.  So she has to go to the shop today.  Charlotte had an interesting life.  One might say she was just very ambitious but overly naive.  She knew how beautiful she was and she knew how to use it.  She was a Flesh Queen, at least that's what they called her in town.  She showed up when she was around 16 and began working in the bars there.   She gets really mad if you assume she ever worked in a brothel - for some reason she doesn't see herself as "that type" but she most certainly is that type.  She used her beauty and her sexual skills to make money and gain a footing in town.  She wanted to have her own bar, and she wanted some wealthy man to pay for it.  Unfortunately for her, the wealthy men in town knew she was trouble.  Charlotte worked SO hard with these men, learning everything they liked, and learning what they wanted to talk about.  Knowing how to ask for certain favors and money.  And she is pissed off that one of them had her killed.  But it truly is her own fault.  She thought she could gamble with their lives, she thought they would choose her over their wives and social standing.  That's just not how Texas works, even back in the 70s, when she died.  Charlotte had 3 or 4 "main" men.  And she began to slowly try to blackmail them, one by one, it kind of worked in the beginning - she thought she was getting what she wanted, but then a stranger slipped into her room and slashed her throat.  She just KNOWS it was one of those men who sent that killer.  She KNOWS why they would do that but she refuses to accept that she failed or just didn't think it through.  She really, honestly thought that she could just keep threatening to expose these men and nothing would happen to her.  She thought they would keep giving her more and more.    She never quite understood that she was less than "the other woman" she was just some young girl who did not know or understand the ways of the world back then.  I think the strangest thing is, she still tries to do it.  She is a highly erotic sexually touching spirit, but she thinks she can get something from living men (and women). She asks for money, apartments, and cars.  Does she not realize she is dead?   She threatens to "tell" on people if she doesn't get what she wants.  Has this woman not realized this is what got her killed?  This doesn't work on people.  Charlotte is VERY touchy-feely, to the point where you sometimes have to tell her NO and set strong boundaries. My husband thought she might be a succubus.  He thinks ALL sexual spirits are succubi, I explained she is just a waywardly ambitious wanna-be blackmailer, and he laughed.  She will need a caregiver who doesn't mind being "fiddled with" in the middle of the night.   My hubby had to tell her he was NOT rich and could not help her and she stopped messing with him almost immediately.  She is highly communicative.  She has used every single tool we have offered her.  She has extremely strong telepathy and clairsentience.  She will touch any man (or woman) under your roof if she thinks she might get something out of the deal.  One of our friends kept going her coins as offerings and pretended to be a wealthy businessman and I really thought he would end up keeping her, as they were BOTH getting their needs met there - but he ended up getting a living girlfriend and brought her back to me.  Charlotte really does well with the PSB7 but she truly doesn't even need it.  We have heard her voice with no tools at all.  She makes herself be heard.  She seems to have a secret gift of attracting new people to the house.  This could just be her seeking a new patron.  Be aware of that.  Charlotte really needs a lot of interaction.  Take that as you will.

 FYI:  In my old shop, we had to have a disclaimer explaining that haunted items were "for entertainment purposes only" and this disclaimer is needed for some credit card processors as well - However, you need to know, as a potential buyer/adopter that I am NOT responsible for any paranormal activity that you might experience in your home once you adopt a spirit.  This is serious and many people who do not know what they are doing have had some pretty overwhelming experiences usually due to their own lack of knowledge or understanding about what it means to be a spirit keeper.  If you are under the age of 18, please do some research before trying to adopt a spirit.  As a seller, I will repeat, there are NO REFUNDS on haunted dolls - I will not guarantee that you will have the same experiences as I have had.  but if you know your stuff, do your research, and are prepared for anything, then you will!
