Jane Haunted Doll ~ 26" BIG Handmade Glazed Bisque French Doll Vessel ~ Adult Woman Spirit ~ Paranormal ~ Mysterious Death ~ Unfinished Business
Jane is a trip. She is very communicative but she is not happy with the state of the world. Having been dead for more than 100 years, I can kind of understand her disdain for "modern times". We got this one from a friend in San Francisco. She told us the doll had been found in the attic of a very old building on Nob Hill. She had tried to take the doll home, but was plagued with "weird visions" and "strange longings". We were excited to get her, she sounded spooky and weird. She did not disappoint. Jane IS spooky and weird, but not in a bad way. She is screaming from beyond the grave. She is so frustrated with her unfinished business, that she feels like one of those haunted houses that can not be "cleansed". There is a very big energy surrounding her, and as soon as you get into her radius, you feel what she is feeling. Frustration, sadness, anger, and a longing for a home that can never be fixed. Jane knows she was murdered. We can tell she was wealthy when she was alive. She said she had "many enemies" but that she never expected to be killed because she tried to keep her friends happy. She gave away tons of gifts and money so that there would be no hard feelings. But I feel like that just made it worse. She refuses to tell us her full name. She said we might know her, but I really doubt it, being that she died in 1905. She is paranoid, even in death. Even though she has already been killed, she is still worried that someone could hurt her. I feel bad for her because of that. Jane shows us snippets of her life, sailing on Titanic-looking ships, and walking down the streets with horses and gas lamps. It feels as if we have gone back in time. Jane said she had been married at the time of her death, but somehow she knows that her husband was not the culprit. There is this thin line like she trusts us enough to tell us some things, but then she fears being killed (again) to the point where she has to protect herself in many ways. She is so mysterious. She also shows herself writing on parchment with a fountain pen, so we thought perhaps trying some automatic writing would work for her, and it did, but only for a short time. She got paranoid and ended the session by trying to scribble out what she had written. I do not know why she won't allow us all the way in, we have offered to help her in any way we can. Jane was raised in a very classist way, and I fear that she sees us as "the help" and not as equals. This is to be expected from an older woman who died in 1905, but still, its been years and she still treats us as lower-class citizens. I really do not know what kind of home she would do best in, but I do know that for every spirit, there is a caregiver, so I have hope that I can find her a good home. She is communicative, and she seems to WANT to be heard and be helped, but her next caregiver will have to work very hard to get over these outdated beliefs of "wealthy" and "not wealthy". Sometimes Jane will cry, and it's not a big sob, it's a sad, slow, quiet cry - the cry of a woman who has no friends and can't bring herself to trust anyone. We KNOW she must've been through some horrible stuff in order to end up like that. I hope she can get the peace she needs.
About the doll: She is BIG, handmade, and she will not come with a doll stand because she is made to sit.

FYI: In my old shop, we had to have a disclaimer explaining that haunted items were "for entertainment purposes only" and this disclaimer is needed for some credit card processors as well - However, you need to know, as a potential buyer/adopter that I am NOT responsible for any paranormal activity that you might experience in your home once you adopt a spirit. This is serious and many people who do not know what they are doing have had some pretty overwhelming experiences usually due to their own lack of knowledge or understanding about what it means to be a spirit keeper. As a seller, I will repeat, there are NO REFUNDS on haunted dolls - I will not guarantee that you will have the same experiences as I have had. but if you know your stuff, do your research, and are prepared for anything, then you will!
