Linda Sue doesn't like to be called Linda, it HAs to be Linda Sue. She reminds me of Loretta Lynn or Dolly Parton, but she was never famous outside of her little town in Kentucky. She came from a moonshining family, they had very little money. But Linda Sue would Sing and play just about any instrument. She taught herself piano by ear, using the church piano. She could play guitar, she would play the harmonica, and just about anything that could make music, she could play it. Linda Sue was really good, but she was never going to leave her small town, and she was certainly never going to even attempt to "get famous". She loved to sing and play music, but she thought she would go to hell if she tried to get a record album or get on the radio. It wasn't that she was dumb, she was just brainwashed and scared. The church had pretty much raised her because her parents were always out in the mountains making moonshine. It's really too bad because she was really in a cult-like situation with the pastor. It eventually lead to her death. The pastor was young, about 30, and Linda Sue was about 16, and he wanted her to play the piano for all the church services on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Friday night Fish Fry. She was eager to do it, but he was an evil man, and he took advantage of her (by force) one day after Wednesday's bible study. He then told her that what "they did" was a sin! The audacity. Of course, Linda Sue was confused and filled with shame that was absolutely undeserved. HE should have been arrested but this was back in 1966 and Linda Sue was not about to go to the police for ANYtHING, because that could put her family at risk. And besides, the police had told her to her face that she was white trash, so there was no way she was going to trust them. Instead, she found some pills and some moonshine and she took every last one. She died and they ruled it a "suicide" and that's why Linda Sue thinks she can't get into heaven. It's not true. If she wanted to, she could get into heaven (or whatever reality she creates to be heaven in her mind). But she feels stuck. We have tried to get this girl to cross over, we have tried to get her to see that HE was the sinner and not her. We have tried everything. But she just wants to sing songs and talk about horses. I love her. She is an easy communicator and she just wants someone to sit with her and listen to music - bonus of you have horses and a piano.
About the doll: She is 17" tall, and she will NOT come with a doll stand. She is a 1960s Bride Doll. She has a body designed for sitting.

As a seller, I will repeat, there are NO REFUNDS on haunted dolls - I will not guarantee that you will have the same experiences as I have had. but if you know your stuff, do your research, and are prepared for anything, then you will!
