Mary Ellen is a very interesting girl. I think she is about 10 years old. I am fairly sure she died in the late 1880s. Her father was a boat captain and we think they went down off the coast of Connecticut. We got her from a lady in upstate NY who often sends us strange spirits. She had originally found the vessel at a thrift shop. She had a feeling something was "different and weird" about the vessel, and she is an experienced paranormal investigator. She told us "This vessel feels like what it feels like to enter a place of death on the Sea". Of course, we were intrigued, and after our initial evaluation, Lisa said, "What does her energy remind you of?" And I said, "The Queen Mary" and she was like, EXACTLY. And we have been intrigued ever since. It's intriguing because this girl was never on the Queen Mary, but she has that same energy of weird spirits who haunt that place. I have a feeling that the Titanic feels very similar. Mary Ellen describes the ship as a "hotel on the ocean" and yet we do not know what kind of ship she went down on. She said her father's name was Heinrich and we can't find any ship captains' names in the records, but we haven't exactly dived into that research. Mary Ellen says there were a lot of people on board the night it went down, and her father tried to put her on a lifeboat, but she was pushed off. The people were frantic and nobody helped her get up. The frigid waters took her life very quickly. Mary Ellen is VERY active. You need to be prepared for how strange she can get. She is not negative or evil in any way - but there is a strangeness to her that can feel quite spooky. She feels like others who have also died at sea. Very different than other deaths. We have felt her sharing her thoughts with us, which are very strange, and weird - she was a bookish girl and we think she was very intelligent for her age. She asks questions that are both deep and intellectual and it's shocking knowing she is only 10 years old. She is an extremely intense Dreamweaver, and we constantly have dreams with her. If she doesn't have books to keep her busy, she will move things around all over the place. Mary Ellen has a weird connection to other nautical death spirits. She was immediately attracted to my Navy sailor and a few other victims of ship sinking. She is deeply connected to the ocean in every sense. Even the mermaid spirits here are fond of her. When I am on the computer, sometimes the tabs will open and it will be something about a shipwreck or a sinking of a passenger ship. It can be spooky! The hair on my arms stands up even talking about it right now because she is watching me and I can feel her energy. I feel like she would do well with someone who can understand what she has been through. Someone who can give her a ton of attention. She shares her emotions and her dreams in such an intense, intellectual way. Like she has a hyper-fixation on ships and wrecks and wants to share that with us. She needs an attentive spirit keeper, that's for sure. She likes the PSB7 and she likes to feel as if someone is there for her, wanting to hear her story. The pendulum and Ouija board have both been effective with her. Books are always a good trigger for her. She needs to be able to feel peace. She is a sweetheart.
