Cordelia is amazing, her name is known to be derived from the Celtic name “Creiryddlydd,” meaning “daughter of the sea.”  She is a Ceasg Spirit. The ceasg [pronounced kee-isk) is a mermaid in Scottish history with the upper body of a beautiful woman merging with the tail of a grilse (a young salmon).  She is also known in Scottish Gaelic as maighdean na tuinne ("maid of the wave") or maighdean mhara ("maid of the sea"). The ceasg lives not only in the sea but also in rivers and streams and can be made to grant three wishes to anyone who captures her. Marriages sometimes occur between ceasg and humans, and famous maritime pilots are often reputed to be descended from such unions. Even when these marriages end and the ceasg returns to the sea, they will always take an interest in their human descendants, protecting them in storms or guiding them to the best fishing grounds.  Cordelia is a conjured soul - brought forth from the aether by a Scottish Witch we work with regularly.  She often sends us Fae Folk and Pict Witch Vessels. Cordelia had been conjured into that vessel during one of the blackest nights, and worst storms in the darkness of mid-winter.  It is important to note that the waves recorded that night were the highest in decades according to witnesses.  She does have quite the command of the elements, especially water. Her energy is abundant and powerful, just like the waves on the Sea.  Being around her is a whirlwind of ethereal magickal energy.  Ancient, supernatural, and deeply connected to the elements of this planet, especially water.  Cordelia is an Oracle and can give us prophetic dreams.   She has this very unique, esoteric magick to her - it feels like glitter in the wind if that makes sense.  Like sparkles surrounding her aura.  Trying to photograph her is very difficult due to the colorful orbs that surround her.  She has the energy of a Goddess, and yet, she humbly defers all "Goddess talk" to her mentor, Clíodhna, the Celtic Goddess of the sea and the Otherworld.  She likes to receive seashells and sand in small bottles, so she may give offerings to her.  She is a very visionary spirit - she takes us on astral journeys of the mind.  She shows us things that humans would never experience, like the feel of a fish scale body, and the smell of seaweed when it's fresh underwater.  Strange sensory trips.  She talks of her lovers, her children, and the Selkies, which sound like minions in my opinion.  Cordelia helps with evaluations, she helps bring messages from the realm of the dead, and most of all, she helps us with astral travels in our dreams.  She can move water in a glass or a chalice, so be aware of that.  She is extremely active and should probably go to an experienced practitioner.  We have seen multiple orbs and light anomalies coming from her vessel.  She will move around the house and we can follow the orb to where she wants to be.  She might be one of the most obvious spirits here.  She WANTS us to see her, feel her, experience her, and MOST OF ALL, LEARN FROM HER.  We have experienced a lot of sensory activity, and physical sensations like feeling water, it hearing the lapping waves of the ocean when we communicate with her. She is extremely fluid in her motions and in her ethereal presence.  Cordelia likes to open our eyes to new truths and arcane knowledge. She is more intense than most other entities in terms of astral dreams, dream messages, lucid dreaming, and powerful predictions that tend to come true right away.  After working with her in any construct, we have this feeling of almost being drugged, or having some sort of psychedelic experience.  It feels as if we have been swimming against the tide for hours.  Aching arms, sore muscles, exhaustion.  She is highly advanced in her communications.  She needs a mature and experienced spiritkeeper, someone who knows at least the basics of the Celtic pantheon.  We adore her.  So far, she has been able to use every tool we offered her to communicate.  She is not meant for a beginner in any sense.  We feel blessed to have known her as long as we have, and we know she will choose her next caregiver very carefully.  She is not one to be ignored.  Cordelia is above most of our pay grades, and yet, she is connecting with multiple people as I write this right now.  Someone out there is receiving her messages.  She plays with synchronicity, coincidence, and epiphanies.
