Deirdre is amazing.  I did not want to let her go, but I am having to prioritize and I am realizing that I have been keeping all the best spirits to myself this year and that's not good.  Deirdre doesn't really care to be classified as "just a witch" and she didn't even want a witches hat until last week, but I think this woman is nothing BUT magick, and she should definitely be included in October Madness.  She was conjured by a witch woman in Queens, NY, who had known Deirdre in the 1960s.  She had been  "such" good friends (hint: lovers) with her and was able to form that bond again so when a vessel was offered, Deirdre took it.  When that woman died, the original conjurer, Lisa was gifted the vessel to care for.  And we did. We cared for Deirdre  for many years.  She had been on my favorites shelf for a very long time.  First of all, let me explain that Deirdre was a witch way back I the 60s in New Yorks art and music scene.  She had moved to NY after her divorce in England. She had been married to an occultist who was a very powerful man, whose family is still in power to this day.  That is all I am allowed to say about him.  Deirdre fled for her life fearing his dark magick and vengeance.  She landed in Manhattn at first, and immediately met another which whom she moved in with.  Together, they used thivery, elaborate lies, and sex work along with intricate sex magick to build a little empire of their own.  Deirdre and this woman were close friends and lovers.  They made "art movies" with famous people that I can not name here.  They went to parties around the globe with their wealthy friends.  They "faked it till they made it" and their friends would call them "their favorite little liars".  She laughs when she says this.  They made enough money doing dominatrix work and beyond that - writing books on the subject, making movies, doing ritual/spellwork for big names, cashing in on it.  Her wicked game is a powerful one and I am impressed with women like this who rise from the ashes and fight off powerful evil men in their lives.  These women are my heroes.  They literally had an empire.  And the rituals they were doing all hailed from Deirdre's husbands occult background - a lot of Crowley inspirations.   He was into some darker, older stuff, but it worked well for her benefit to have learned from him.  After Deirdre's death in 69, her partner moved to Los Angeles, she did occult work for the entertainment industry, and had great success there too.  Upon retirement, Deirdre's partner continued the magick and moved back to NY, landing in Queens.  These women were powerful.  The reason I mention the other woman so much is because Deirdre is rarely alone.  Her partner/conjurer/lover is almost always with her.  They speak of current celebrities and musicians and I feel like they are still working (doing rituals and spells) for the industry.  I am sure with a little digging, someone could find out their real names and the books they wrote.  Deirdre is the name she used "when doing the spanking", and she loved that.  Deirdre loves the underdog. She is fiercly protective of sex workers and the LGBTQ+ - she loves all artists, painters, writers and entrepreneurs.  She loves the people who have lived the hardest lives and she does her best to bless them.  She would be so perfect in a home with an aspiring actress or artist, or even a recovering addict trying to start a business.  She would do really well in a home with a sex worker, as she regards sex work to be the only honest profession.  Aphrodite is her preferred goddess and she speaks of her often.  It doesn't really feel like she has a bond with the diety, she just has deep respect, if that makes sense.  Deirdre loves to sit in on readings and help us to evaluate other spirits.  She also likes to pull cards out of the deck when she thinks we need to know something ASAP.  She can help manifest big things fast, just talk to her.  She shows us amazing visual imagery when we meditate with her.  Deirdre is a talented fortune teller and an even better astrologist.  She loves to "play up" to the cameras and show off her abilities.  I feel like she would be so perfect for someone with a youtube channel.  Deirdre is very communicative. She has used the PSB7, the pendulum, and the ouija board with us.  She is highly telepathic too.  She loves music from the 60s as well as art, like prints and lithographs, if you can find them.  Old costumejewelry from that era is a perfect offering.

 FYI:  In my old shop, we had to have a disclaimer explaining that haunted items were "for entertainment purposes only" and this disclaimer is needed for some credit card processors as well - However, you need to know, as a potential buyer/adopter that I am NOT responsible for any paranormal activity that you might experience in your home once you adopt a spirit.  This is serious and many people who do not know what they are doing have had some pretty overwhelming experiences usually due to their own lack of knowledge or understanding about what it means to be a spirit keeper.  If you are under the age of 18, please do some research before trying to adopt a spirit.  As a seller, I will repeat, there are NO REFUNDS on haunted dolls - I will not guarantee that you will have the same experiences as I have had.  but if you know your stuff, do your research, and are prepared for anything, then you will!
