Carrie Haunted Doll ~ 18" Hard Plastic Jointed Ballerina 1950s ~ Paranormal ~ Insecure ~ Needs a Stable Home

I adore this girl, but she needs a strong home.  She came to us from a friend in Tennessee.  He had found her in a thrift shop and he could tell she was haunted.  He had no idea how to do an evaluation.  When we finally got done with her eval, he did not want the responsibility of this spirit.  I can't blame him.  She needs more than most people are willing to give.  Carrie is a sweetheart, but she has a lot of issues.  She really needs a strong parental-type caregiver.  She is 19 years old, but she seems MUCH younger than that.  She has a lot of mental health issues.  She was raised by a "dance mom" type, a narcissistic mother who wanted her to be an actress so badly.  She barely let Carrie eat food.  By the time she was 8 or 9, Carrie had an eating disorder.  She was not allowed to have friends over or go over to anyone's house.  She had to practice all the time.  It was beyond abusive.  It was obsessive.  Carries father died when she was very young, and he had been the only one who could calm her mother down.  She was really vulnerable without him.  Carries mother was truly psychotic.  Carrie had multiple issues, one of which was extreme manic states.   You can still feel it when she gets like that.  There is a feeling that she HAS to practice.  And her body is VERY OLD plastic.  You can hear her joints moving.  It does feel strange to hear it.  You can feel her pain when she is going through all of this.  She ended up dying of kidney failure from bulimia.  Binging and purging.  She was losing her teeth and hair.  She was truly falling apart, and her mother kept at her.  Her mother never let her go to high school because she was afraid she would learn about "turning 18" and legally being able to move out.  I can't even imagine how rough her life must've been.  Carrie really feels like the only person who ever loved her truly was her father.  She says she can't feel him around her, but we can.  We can sense that he is right there with her.  I don't know why she has blocked his energy.  I think her mother really had her brainwashed.  She is so nervous and insecure.  I feel terrible that she can not find peace even in death.  I feel like Carrie gets better the longer she is here.  But she still needs a lot of care.  She needs to know what a real loving mother feels like.  I tried to show her, but I am stretched too thin over here with all these spirits needing my care.  I want her to have a second chance at life.  I want her to see her worth and stop "practicing".  She feels like she can't ever stop or she will let down her mother.  I think she makes a great older sister for my child spirits, except when she has those manic episodes.  I need to find her the perfect home.  She is incredibly active.  She comes up with clever ways to get our attention.  She is a fascinating Dreamweaver, too!  She prefers telepathy, Spirit Board, and pendulum, but if she thinks you need to hear something, she will find a way to make you listen. Carrie loves EVPs and the spirit box.  She has an electric feel to her that is quite amazing.  It's the sounds of her joints moving that tend to freak people out.  But I love her.  

About the Doll - She is a 1950s type clone of a Ideal Miss Revlon Doll with a Twist N Turn waist. She is quite beautiful.  She will come with a doll stand.

 FYI:  In my old shop, we had to have a disclaimer explaining that haunted items were "for entertainment purposes only" and this disclaimer is needed for some credit card processors as well - However, you need to know, as a potential buyer/adopter that I am NOT responsible for any paranormal activity that you might experience in your home once you adopt a spirit.  This is serious and many people who do not know what they are doing have had some pretty overwhelming experiences usually due to their own lack of knowledge or understanding about what it means to be a spirit keeper.  If you are under the age of 18, please do some research before trying to adopt a spirit.  As a seller, I will repeat, there are NO REFUNDS on haunted dolls - I will not guarantee that you will have the same experiences as I have had.  but if you know your stuff, do your research, and are prepared for anything, then you will!
