This was purchased in Kenya by my grandmother when we worked for United Airlines back in the 80s
African hand-carved wooden letter openers carved out of Thorn tree wood with traditional patterns and people carved onto the handle.
Each African letter opener is an "original" work of art, individually handcrafted, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the letter opener as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
