Tiana (pronounced TE-AUH-NUH) is a very special little baby. Lisa loved her so much that she had her with her in Egypt, but had to put her in storage after a while for unrelated reasons.  She fell in love with Tiana, and it's easy to do that.  She is a sweet, cuddly baby who doesn't understand that she is attached to a doll's vessel.  She thinks she is just as alive as any of us.  Lisa felt like she was one of the more "aware" baby vessels, like she knows when you are home and in the same room with her, and she lets you know that she knows.  And that's rare for a child this young.  I would normally keep a spirit like this, but with everything going on in our lives right now, it would be crazy.  And unfair to the baby.  Mike and I know better than to try to keep every baby that gives us that parent-magnet feeling.  If we did, we would have an even bigger problem than we have now - too many child spirits in the house.  It can be very draining. Tiana was only about 4 or 5 months, maybe younger, when she died. Tiana was born to a single mother with a heroin addiction.  Her birth was very traumatic, with police and CPS involvement at the hospital.  Her mother was closed off, they did not bond properly, if at all.  The nurses tried to get her mother to release custody to the state, but she refused.  Tiana was born addicted to opiates and had to be slowly withdrawn in the NICU.  Her mother was not allowed to see her during this time, as she was going through the exact same treatment in the other part of the hospital, as was protocol.  Her mother had no prenatal care at all.  Tiana has an auntie with her at all times, who is her mother's sister, who died at age 18 in a car accident.  She helps us to communicate with the baby.  She is the reason we know how Tiana died - her mother relapsed and left her in her crib to die alone: hungry, scared, and cold.  Sometimes, when we pick up her vessel, Tiana is throbbing with energy, feeling very anxious, and stressed.  Must be reliving what it was like to go through the withdrawals or the abandonment. If we pick her up, she immediately calms down.  I think she knows she is safe here.  Everyone who has met her just loves her.  She is a true sweetheart. She wants, and more appropriately NEEDS, a mother's full attention.  She will draw you in.  I believe she needs a real family, one with kids, perhaps, and other child spirits.  Tiana is kind of needy, and because my personal collection is so large, it is difficult for me to be able to spend as much time as she needs, one-on-one. She is very active. We get a lot of facial changes, we've heard voices while seeing her mouth move, and we have seen the vessel's hands grasp and move objects, despite being "molded closed".  We have seen her eyes OPEN despite her eyes being shut.  She can manipulate the energies around her vessel.  She is content most of the time.  Not always uncomfortable and anxious, but when she IS, you can really feel it.  She loves to be talked to, she loves to be held.  I feel like she absolutely needs a caregiver who will treat her as if she were another living child in the house.   Tiana is a very active, very powerful, energetic force in this house.   She likes to play with light-up toys and music boxes.  She communicates well using electronics, like EVPs and the PSB7 spirit box.  She does well with the pendulum when she feels like it.  Tiana needs a family, and I know she would do well with lots of children, living or otherwise, around her.  She is a sweet girl who just needs love.
