I have been trying to get her into the shop for days now, she and I have been having fun here.  She seems to be really active this week and wants to get into our Halloween decor.  We got Maedra from one of my paranormal friends in Los Angeles, the same one who often finds things in the studio prop rooms! This vessel was not found on any studio lot, though.  She was found inside an Uber after a party in the Hollywood Hills.  My friend asked the driver where it had come from and the driver called the previous passenger to see if she had forgotten the doll.  Nope.  He was at a loss, and my friend decided it was fate that she had the doll.  She brought it home and was going to "creep" it out as a Halloween decoration.  But when she went to cut her hair off, the doll clearly stated NO.  She told us she could not tell if the "NO" was loud and clear or if it was only in her head, but she heard it without a doubt.  Immediately she called us and she began her own little eval.  She told us she felt like the doll was "mad at her".  She would barely get any responses with the spirit box or pendulum.  She sent her to us and told us she felt like the doll "didn't like her".  Turns out, she was right.  When we received the box she was in, I could feel a "jumpiness" inside the box and I immediately got butterflies in my tummy.  When we opened the box, I felt like she was relieved to be here, and still mad that my friend had wanted to cut her hair.  NEVER cut her hair.  I learned this the hard way years ago, always ask permission when working on the vessel of a spirit. I explained to her that my friend had no idea she was haunted, but Maedra was not having it.  Even today, when we mention my friend's name, she gets mad.  Maedra is kind of eccentric, in a fun way, for sure, but she has her quirks.  Her uniqueness makes it hard to find her a perfect match, you never know who she will love and who she will hate.  I have found that she prefers autistic people and artsy people.  I have a teammate here, a teacher, Maedra hates her.  She sees her as a disciplinarian and an authoritarian.  And she wants nothing to do with her.  The thing is, my friend is NOT any of those things, but Maedra THINKS all teachers are mean.  Nothing will change her mind.  She also hates cops and pretty much anyone in a uniform.  When I say she is eccentric, I mean it.  Maedra is a strange one any way you look at it.  She lived an interesting life.  She was about 17 when she died, it was an accidental death.  She died in the garage with the car running, not realizing that the car exhaust could kill her.  It had been cold that morning and she wanted to arm the car up before going to school.  Her mother was an immigrant from Greece and barely spoke any English. Maedra learned how to speak English from her grandfather, who died only a year before her.  It was his car, her mother did not know how to drive it.  Maedra took care of her mother.  She has a lot of guilt about dying, and not knowing if her mother understood it was an accident.  There was no interpreter for her, it was 1981.  She says she knows her mother has passed on, it happened in the past few years.  She says she felt it happen.  She has a few mental health issues, but nothing that can affect her caregiver.  She is a bit obsessive about stuff.  She lives in her own little world, basically like me.  She is a lot like me in a lot of ways.  Maedra had a thing for collecting stuff, and when I say she was well on her way to becoming a hoarder, I mean it.  She loves junk.  She loves to pull drawers out and pull things out of the drawer.  She also likes to place things in "order".  So like, coins will be placed in the way she sees fit.  Crystals will end up in a line if you leave them in a pile.  She's been doing that here for a few days now because we brought up all the Halloween costumes and decorations.  She is one of our most active spirits in terms of physical movements, sounds and voices, and light anomalies.  She has scared the heck out of many of my teammates, and my family.  She has a weird, almost jittery energy most of the time.  She is that weird friend who forces you to pull over behind the dollar general so she can dumpster dive.  She is that person who sees a pile of trash on the side of the road and has to check it out.  She is that weird friend who goes and picks up anything that's free on facebook marketplace.  She loves music too, weird disco and folk from the late 70s early 80s.  Her energy seems to go up and down, as if she gets really excited and pops off.  We have had lightbulbs burst, doors and windows blow open, and stuff fly off our shelves.  She loves messing up my herbs and crystals.  She needs a very attentive spiritkeeper.  She does well with every communication tool we have offered her.  She is an intense Dreamweaver as well.  Maedra is an interesting person and she will need an interesting caregiver.  I think she needs a kindred soul.

About the doll:  She is a 1980s 18-inch "walking doll" and she will not come with a doll stand, because she can stand on her own.

IMPORTANT - If you look at a spirit doll and feel a tug in your heart, that is how you know the doll is meant for you. You will feel it in your soul. I can reserve a doll for you for up to 2 weeks while you decide. Email me with any questions you have regarding this doll, or haunted dolls in general.

FYI:  In my old shop, we had to have a disclaimer explaining that haunted items were "for entertainment purposes only" and this disclaimer is needed for some credit card processors as well - However, you need to know, as a potential buyer/adopter that I am NOT responsible for any paranormal activity that you might experience in your home once you adopt a spirit.  This is serious and many people who do not know what they are doing have had some pretty overwhelming experiences usually due to their own lack of knowledge or understanding about what it means to be a spirit keeper.  If you are under the age of 18, please do some research before trying to adopt a spirit.  As a seller, I will repeat, there are NO REFUNDS on haunted dolls - I will not guarantee that you will have the same experiences as I have had.  but if you know your stuff, do your research, and are prepared for anything, then you will!

Please read our Reviews as well as our FAQs. Thank you so much!
