No Reserves Shirayuki Haunted Doll ~ 17" Antique Oriental Stockinette Vessel ~ Paranormal ~ Yokai Yuki Onna ~ Niigata Prefecture ~ Spooky ~ NO KIDS

Shirayuki came from Japan about 8 years ago.  She is from Nigata Prefecture and was sent to my friend Lisa.  It was more of a rescue mission.  Shirayuki is a Yoki Onna, one of Japan’s most well-known and yet unknown yokai. There is no single story of the Yuki Onna. From dread snow vampire of the mountains to a loving bride and mother, she has played many roles over the centuries; wearing many costumes. She is ephemeral as a windblown mist of snow, and as impossible to hold.  The person who had been taking care of this spirit had been scared to death of her.  She had a daughter, and she could tell that this vessel was "draining" her kid.  If she did housework in the front room, where the doll had been placed by her mother years before, she would often fall asleep and have dreams of a "snow woman" but it felt like a vampire-type thing.  Lisa was intrigued because she knew that the older woman, the mom who died, had always thought the doll held a "normal" Yoki Onna, not a scary one.  When the older woman died, that's when the dark side of this Yokai showed her face.  Shirayuki is a Snow Ghost, basically.  A Yoki Onna, who, for many years, presented as a friendly and positive spirit in the home.  When her caregiver passed over, then she began to present as the more notorious Yoki Onna, who haunts the snowy forests looking to feed. She lives by sucking seiki (精気), the vital energy of the human body. She extracts the seiki by first freezing her victims to death, then sucking their souls out through their mouths. This type of Yuki Onna is particularly nasty in Nigata, where it is said she particularly prefers the seiki of children.  Shirayuki has been passed through our friends over and over again because nobody wants to keep her around for too long.  She can get really creepy.  She comes across as friendly and even submissive at first.  Almost to the point of "too friendly", and then you notice it.  Slight at first, but if you have her on the desk with you, you will fall asleep and she will show you who she truly is in the dreamscapes she creates.  She is truly a powerful spirit.  Highly telepathic.  But there is this dark side to her, where she does feel like an actual vampire like you learn not to trust her too much.  There is a sense that if she could, and if she had enough time, she would figure out a way to actually drink your blood.  She is very manipulative, and she does "too much" to try to gain your trust.  She will offer favors and gifts that seem too good to be true because they are.  I do not want her to be near any children whatsoever.  She has a bad effect on them.  Almost like she drains them to the point where they have no more immune system.  No responsible spiritkeeper would adopt her with kids in the house.  Another spooky thing she does is she can turn the room ice cold.  ICE cold.  When we have communication sessions with her, it always ends with the ice-cold temps and there is a feeling that if she could freeze us to death, she would.  And I fear that if she gets enough power one day, she still could.  I have kept her with my friend who does demonology, I do not like spirits like this to be anywhere near my family.  So I would appreciate her being gone as soon as possible.  She will be in the containment box in the garage until she gets adopted.  Serious spirit keepers only.  Experience necessary.  You need to know how to protect yourself spiritually from spirits like her.  If you are brave enough and experienced enough, communication sessions with her are the stuff Ghost Adventures would be jealous of.  She is NOT for the uninitiated, absolutely.  She does very well with the pendulum and the PSB7, Ouija is OK she can speak a bit of English. The thing that worries me most about Shirayuki is that she spent more than 15 years in that house, "acting normal", and then switched up in such a drastic way.  I do not like spirits like this.  Please help me rehome her.  ASAP.
