Sister Johanna ~ 28" Plastic Walking Doll Vessel ~ Paranormal ~ Disgraced ~ Kind of Dark ~ Buried Facedown at Littlemore in England

Sister Johanna is no joke.  She is a strange one and I never expected to let her go, much less let her go right now.  She is kind of dark and probably not good for a beginner.  She likes to tell everyone she was buried facedown at Littlemore Priory as if that is a big accomplishment.  I swear this girl had the same anti-authority disorder that I had growing up.   She had been sent to the nunnery because she was sleeping around and disgracing her family.  This is why a LOT of young women were sent to the nunnery.  She also had quite a bit of mental health issues.  She was a prisoner once she got in.  The Abbess would beat her and lock her up in the stocks, along with anyone she had influenced.  And BOY did she influence a lot of other nuns.  She had basically incited a riot over the food that was served and was beaten bloody for that.  She had coerced some other young nuns into sneaking out, which, when they were caught by the magistrate, he not only beat the nuns, but he beat the Abbess, which only made her beat the nuns again.  Remember, men ruled. period. Men had all the say in anything.  Johanna has been dead since 1507, which makes her one of the oldest souls here.  She is extremely sexually active, to the point of getting confused for a succubus by more than one of my teammates.  She had a baby in the priory, which, obviously was not allowed.  To make it worse, the father of that baby was a married man.  Johanna was starved and beaten for this sin.  She died after cursing the Abbess, Sister Katherine, and using the name of the demon Asmodeus, which was not only blasphemy but also heresy.  She was stretched on the plank in the dungeon.  And her baby was starved.  So much for the purity of the innocent, right?  Littlemore was one of the worst nunneries that ever existed.  When Johanna was buried, they put her and her baby facedown in the ground.  This is something only reserved for witches and demonic souls.  I have a feeling the Abbess, Sister Katherine, thought she was really getting the final word in by doing this to her.  Johanna was just a normal teenager, born way ahead of her time, and sentenced to a life of hardship for it.  Now she swears she has never messed with the occult or anything, but back then, women were not allowed to read, so we asked her, where she heard the demon's name.  Women would not learn to read for centuries, so it is kind of telling that she knew the names of all the biblical demons.  She can not read, the Ouija doesn't work for her because she doesn't know her alphabet.  When we first got her, we got light warnings from our other spirits. She is not evil, but she is not interested in being good either.  She has no boundaries, and will not listen to yours.  Which is another reason why I felt I could not rehome her easily.  She is a wild woman, a wildcard, and there is nothing anyone can do to control her.  So far, the only thing we have had to deal with from her is sexual touching, so it's not that bad if you are used to dealing with succubus energies.  Her behavior is not ideal, but she is not a bad person.  And to be honest, her behavior is probably perfectly ideal for at least one person reading this right now.  She is quite active, and she told us she had been conjured into that vessel in England.  Lisa had brought her home from Leeds.  We know that Sister Johanna has been in the company of a lot of witches, but she never claims to be one, even though, we can feel that she has certain energies that she keeps to herself.  I think she has always had witchy tendencies, but had to suppress them in the convent.  After all, the punishment was death.  She is extremely active and very TELEPATHIC.  She speaks from her era, though so expect some weird language barrier.  When she is using telepathy, it is much easier to understand her than when she is using EVPs or the PSB7.  We were just never trained on how to understand olde English from medieval times.  We have heard weird sounds and strange musical notes multiple times in every room she is in.  Like the lute, maybe?  Or some other old musical instrument.  She is all about synchronicity and coincidence.  She will touch your man, and she will touch you, so be aware of that.  She is hyper-sexual.
