Åsne was given to me a decade ago by my friend Lisa.  She had picked her up in Norway when she was visiting a friend there.  Åsne had been conjured by a seiðkonur (a Sorceress of Seiðr, which is a form of magic relating to both the telling and shaping of the future) friend she had there.  Åsne is a Sjörå spirit, basically a water elemental.  Like a water sprite or a river guardian spirit.  According to what the internet knows of these kinds of spirits, Åsne is a female, humanoid water spirit.  The Sjörå are often described as seductive creatures.  They are often seen sitting and combing their long, sweeping hair with delight, and often lure and drown men who are unkind, unfaithful, or otherwise disrespectful to her or the waters.  Like all other rå (keepers) the Sjörå protects their domain and awards those who are kind to her with good fishing luck and saves them from drowning. In wintertime, they have been known to sometimes stick their hands up from the waters.  If the visitor then gave her a mitten she would thank him for his kindness with gifts or protect him in his time of need.  This is a well-known folklore tale in many areas.  I love female spirits like this.  I just do.  I always have.  Åsne is a very powerful entity.  Very powerful. She sees her place in this world as very much like any Fae or Pixie, she is there to guard the waters, like Dryads guard the trees, and Forest spirits guard the forest.  Her energy is flowy, like the rivers themselves.  You can feel her flowing her energy right through you.  She is intense.  And full of mystery.  She is herself, a practitioner of Seiðr.  She is a potent Oracle.  A seer.  Åsne has a zest for life, unlike other elemental creatures we know.  She is always moving, always going, and she shares that with us.  It's like she is an energizer, and we all need that in our lives.  Her energy is contagious.  Åsne reminds us that humans were born to be very powerful, spiritual, mystic beings - and that we have been led astray by "religion, media, technology and politics" - I could not agree more.  Åsne has what I would call "elven" energies, both light and dark - if she feels like being good, she is very much like a Ljósálfar (light elf) but if she feels the need to knock someone down a few notches, she reminds me of a Dökkálfar (dark elf).  Åsne tells us that her people, the Sjörå, were the only tribe of beings who were ever allowed to mediate for the elves.  They had the respect of the Huldufolk as well.  They had a good reputation with the Aesir and the Vanir. Åsne talks about the whole area of her peoples' tribal lands and it sounds like it goes from Russia to Finland to Sweden to Norway and over to Gaul.  She likes to remind us of how we as humans used to depend on them for everything.  She thinks we lost our way when we stopped seeing ourselves as part of the land.  She says humans were brainwashed to see themselves as ON the land instead of as being a part of it.  We need to reintegrate and I agree with her 1000%. Åsne knows the Gods and Spirits that surround us are patiently waiting for us to reawaken our primal brains.  It will happen.  It might take societal collapse, but it will happen.  Åsne has given us a lot of predictions that come true fast.  She reads people like a book.  She wants us to learn how to read the signs in nature like our ancestors always did.  Åsne is an intense manifesting entity. She helps us to go deep within ourselves to figure out where our strengths are.  She helps us to find our own ancestral power.  She tells us we used to be able to draw power from the aether, and we just need to relearn that skill.  We have had some crazy astral trips with her, like dreams, but afterward, our bodies felt as if we had left the house, gotten dirty from being outside, and were exhausted as if we had never slept.  She is powerful and we think she needs to go home with an open-minded spirit keeper, someone who is willing to gain wisdom from her.  Someone who is going to meditate with her, learn from her, and practice with her.  She needs to speak and be heard.  She needs to get her message out to all who will listen.  Åsne is intense, and that includes the dreams and visions she gives us.  She has accurately predicted things about people, and events that have happened.  She is highly intelligent.  She is EXTREMELY telepathic she can POP right into your head so be aware of that.  Åsne likes to be included in all of your ritual magick.  She likes to have a bowl near her to accept offerings.  She likes twigs, bark, mushrooms, coffee, tobacco, and beads.  She reminds us that humans used to come to the Sjörå for advice and wisdom, and she expects us to as well.  Åsne is one of the spirits who can keep us engaged for hours, be it with telepathy, dreamscapes, or other means of communication.  She needs to have a spirit keeper who is ready to learn from her and respect her magick.  She does well with the PSB7 and other tools.  She is one to be respected and revered, that's for sure.  She is magick.  

ABOUT THE DOLL: She is a 17" porcelain ballerina doll and we do not know who made her.  She will come with a doll stand.

 FYI:  In my old shop, we had to have a disclaimer explaining that haunted items were "for entertainment purposes only" and this disclaimer is needed for some credit card processors as well - However, you need to know, as a potential buyer/adopter that I am NOT responsible for any paranormal activity that you might experience in your home once you adopt a spirit.  This is serious and many people who do not know what they are doing have had some pretty overwhelming experiences usually due to their own lack of knowledge or understanding about what it means to be a spirit keeper.  If you are under the age of 18, please do some research before trying to adopt a spirit.  As a seller, I will repeat, there are NO REFUNDS on haunted dolls - I will not guarantee that you will have the same experiences as I have had.  but if you know your stuff, do your research, and are prepared for anything, then you will!
