Kelsie is a brat, but we adore her.  A cute brat, if you will.  Everybody loves her. I had to wrestle her from my teammate on Monday. I feel like she was planning on keeping her forever.  This kind of thing happens a lot.  Kelsie came into our lives about 4 years ago.  She was sent in by a woman who had found her at a swap meet.  She had been raggedy, and dirty, wearing clothing that looked like it had been run through the mud and left outside for months.  She was a dirty wreck.  The woman who had bought her wanted her for parts.  But when she took her home, she knew immediately that she was dealing with a haunted doll and she had never dealt with one before in her life.  She researched and ended up trying to keep her, trying to communicate with her, but eventually, she got overwhelmed and asked us to take her.  When she reached us, she had been slightly cleaned up, but I had a lot of work to do.  Once we got her in the clothes she wanted to be in, "jammies", she opened up very quickly.  Kelsie was a victim of domestic violence.  Her mother's boyfriend murdered both of them.  Kelsie fought him, trying to protect her mother with all of her little might.  She was only around 3 but she knew by instinct that she had to protect her mother.  She remembers punching at him but then everything went black.  She doesn't understand death at all, she still thinks her mother is just injured.  And her mother is with her at times.  I can feel her.  I know this sounds wild, but I feel like Kelsie's attached to this vessel because of something her mother did, or perhaps her mother invited her to attach to the vessel for some reason.  I feel like maybe the doll was in their possession when they were killed.  Maybe it belonged to Kelsie.  There is a sense that her mom was trying to keep her safe and in the confusion of those early death-realization moments, maybe "hiding her" in the doll made the mother feel like she was saving her daughter.  You tell me what feeling you get when you connect with her.  Our team always felt like the mom was responsible for the child being in the vessel, but we could never figure out how or why.  Kelsie is the kind of child you have to pick up and hug every time you walk by her.  She is spicy, and there is a feeling that she would do ANYTHING to protect herself, her mom, a random dog, and other children.  She let us know she is a little fighter.  We get a ton of activity from Kelsie - everything from lights flickering to electrical disturbances to songs coming on the radio.  She shows a lot of orbs when we film her.  She manifests herself as a cute little curly-haired crawling toddler girl, grabbing our legs and opening cupboards.  She is always wearing the cutest jammies when we catch a glimpse of her.  She is a survivor type, even at that young age.  She really thought she could save her mom and she still has that brave attitude.  I adore her.  Kelsie lets people know what she needs.  When we walk by her, she sends us the message "Pick me up" or "Talk to me".  She deserves a good attentive caregiver.  She adores the dogs.  She likes to play with light-up toys and music boxes.  She communicates well for her age!  I think that's due to her mom being with her.  She can use electronics, like EVPs and the PSB7 spirit box.  She does well with the pendulum too.  And she is a wonderful Dreamweaver.   Kelsie needs a home and I know she would do well with lots of children, living or otherwise, around her.  

About the doll:  Kelsie will not come with a doll stand as she was made to sit on her bum.
