We have had Amelia here for a long time. We kept her longer than most because we could never get enough information from her to satisfy my need for details. But we ended up bonding with her very strongly, and she just loved being in the presence of all the other spirits here. She was happy for once. She was sent to us by a friend of Lisa's in France. We were told she was an "unknown spirit" who would not stop turning her music box on and off. That was ALL we got as far as info goes for her evaluation. She was so much more than that. Active from the very start. Amelia was supposed to be listed last week but we started talking to her and ended up having a days-long communication session with her. She is just one of those vessels that never disappoints. She will communicate using anything we offer her. We tried talking to her to see if she knew where she wanted to go next, and she went on and on about the home she saw herself in. She is a psychic child. She can tell you what is coming. The worst part is, she has always been gifted, and she always knew her parents would kill her. She saw it coming. She knew her fate at a young age. I think her parents feared her. We would hear her music box go off multiple times at night the past week or so, she is just SO excited. She wants a house that "feeds her". She was killed by neglect, starved, beaten, and abused. Amelia wants a home where she can feel happy and loved. Out of all of the abused children we have seen come through this shop, I think her case was probably the most evil. Her parents were evil. She says her mother is in a French prison and will be until she dies. She thinks her father was killed in jail for what they did to their children. We have tried looking them up, but the name and/or last name she gave us don't seem to match any court cases that I am familiar with. Perhaps someone living in France might know of her case. She says she remembers the news crews being around. I think this all happened in the 80s or early 90s. But we really can not tell. The kids were not allowed TV or radio, no toys, no stimulation of the mind whatsoever. So there are no triggers that a normal child would have. No favorite cartoons, or characters. Just fear, pain, and hunger. That is all she or her sisters knew. She thinks her sisters are still alive, and "old now". Every memory this girl has of her life is filled with pain, sadness, hunger, panic, and terrible emotions. We are so proud of her because she has completely overcome these traumas. She has had a 2nd chance at happiness and she took it wholeheartedly. She has finally escaped the clutches of her parents' abuse. It is like having a foster kid here who is making great strides at recovery from horrendous violent abuses. We cheer for Amelia now. We cried for days after each communication session for the first 2 years. Gutwrenching doesn't even begin to describe what happened to her. The word "betrayal" comes to mind because no child should ever be treated this way by their biological parents, or anyone for that matter. I have always had the feeling that her parents were scared of her gifts. She was most certainly an Indigo Child, psychic, intuitive, and connected to the universe. I think her parents were lowlifes with low IQs, the types of people who were scared of what they did not understand. Violent creepy people. Amelia has had a lot of time to work through these memories. She knows she is safe. She knows she is going somewhere safe next. She seems to be calling out to the person she wants to adopt her. If you have had any visions of her or dreams, then it's probably YOU. She is an amazing Dreamweaver. And she doesn't just share her terrible memories, she shares visions of her as a happy child, what she wants to be, things she wants to do, books and toys she never had that she now loves. She likes to be included in everything. She speaks both English and French but prefers French. Amelia is not a "leave on the shelf" type of spirit. She won't let you do that. She HAS to be part of your everyday life. She only ever wanted love from her parents. She was failed by every adult who ever knew her from teachers to neighbors to grocery store clerks who saw her skin and bones and bruises. People who "didn't want to get involved". Amelia never had anyone who cared about her at all, she needs to feel loved, needed, and safe. She needs to have her needs met in ways they never were during her life. I think she would do well in a house with a lot of other children. She was 8 or 9 when she died. She knows she can talk to us, and she does. EVPs are strong with her, and her voice has been heard all over the house, she doesn't stick to her vessel, she travels all over the house. She moves things around. She turns on that music box all the time. She whispers and talks loud enough to be heard without devices. We get a lot of movements with her. She is always doing something out of the corner of my eye. We adore her. Amelia does well with the spirit box and the pendulum. She does ok with the Ouija but her spelling is not the greatest. She failed miserably at school and was never followed up on by any school administrator. People failed her in her lifetime, but I think she knows that will never happen again. She is a happy girl now.
About the doll: She is a Jumeau reproduction and she is signed on her neck. She is A Gorham doll and has the G bracelet. Her music box plays "Close to Me". She will come with a doll stand.
