Iliya is pronounced Ill-lee-uh.  She is SO interesting, and opinionated, and we love her for it.  She is a trip too because she has spent the last few years before she was here with a guy we kind of know in Istanbul, and he had a very hard time with her.  Originally, this vessel was found in Bulgaria.  We have a few friends there, and one of our friends sent her to this guy in Istanbul, who had requested a "female guardian spirit".  Well, I won't mince words here, but this guy was a jerk.  He treated women badly, and Iliya was not about to put up with that at all.  She made his life a living hell and when he reached out to Lisa about it (Lisa was, and still is, living in Egypt) she told him to ship the vessel to us.  For some reason, it took MONTHS for the box to reach us.  After hearing the story from everyone, I thought it was hilarious.  So did Lisa.  Our Bulgarian friend kind of snickered because he knew she was like that with abusive men, but none of us realized what a dick that guy was in Istanbul.  Long story short:  Iliya will make life a living hell for any abusive man, so let that be known.  She is a Samodiva, I think? She is some type of Baltic Forest Nymph.  She came from Bulgaria and shows all signs of being very fairy-like with her energies, and very otherworldly and ethereal with her communications.  She is quite amazing.  QUITE the guardian.  She is perfect for single women.  She will ward off those creeps that have bad intentions.  If you are currently dealing with a creep she will chase him away.  I feel like she is a perfect spirit guide, especially for women and children.  Iliya is a powerful, intelligent, intuitive spirit.  She is very nurturing and motherly, and yet she can be as fierce as an assassin if she feels like it.  Her ideal environment is somewhere she can be able to see the trees.  Samodivas are known for their healing wisdom and herbal skills.  In Bulgaria, it is known that Samodivas are knowledgeable about herbs and plants, so they are associated with many plants with medicinal qualities, such as Euonymus alatus, Gentiana Alba, and other herbs. Many Bulgarians believe that Еuonymus Alatus should be picked only on the eve of Ascension Day because the samodivas are more friendly and their healing powers are stronger.  I don't know about all of that, but I can tell you her strength of aura definitely gets stronger in the spring and summer, and as the herbs and plants begin to wither and hibernate, Iliya also prefers to be tucked away until the snow has melted.  She is part of my personal fae collection, and I am hoping she goes somewhere they have light winters.  And if winter is heavy then I hope her next caregiver will allow her a warm blanket and a quiet corner in her house.  Iliya is an extraordinary Dreamweaver and an even more remarkable communicator.  Especially through dreams and telepathy.  She is able to put her words directly into my mind as I am looking at her.  She has a very particular Bulgarian accent.  She is the sort of Dreamweaver that makes you examine your senses. She takes us on strange adventures in the night.  The kind where you wake up with the feeling of having left your actual bed and gone somewhere REAL.  Sometimes we get bruises or strange smells attached to our clothing.  It's impressive.  And kind of scary.  I feel like Iliya is much older than we would think.  I do not think they age the same way we do.  She is a magnet for strange energies in the house.   The elementals and other Fae-like entities in the house are drawn to her. Iliya is a powerful mystical spirit.  She is definitely one of a kind.  She is an excellent channel of energy for all types of magickal rituals, healing, and spellwork.  She does great with EVP sessions and using the spirit box.  She also likes the pendulum and other methods.  Iliya is truly unique and her guardianship is unmatched.  Be careful if you bring her home and if your man is abusive.  She really will cause some serious problems for him.  

ABOUT THE DOLL: She is a larger-than-normal Ballerina-style fairy porcelain doll.  She comes with a sturdy doll stand.  Her wings are HUGE.

 FYI:  In my old shop, we had to have a disclaimer explaining that haunted items were "for entertainment purposes only" and this disclaimer is needed for some credit card processors as well - However, you need to know, as a potential buyer/adopter that I am NOT responsible for any paranormal activity that you might experience in your home once you adopt a spirit.  This is serious and many people who do not know what they are doing have had some pretty overwhelming experiences usually due to their own lack of knowledge or understanding about what it means to be a spirit keeper.  If you are under the age of 18, please do some research before trying to adopt a spirit.  As a seller, I will repeat, there are NO REFUNDS on haunted dolls - I will not guarantee that you will have the same experiences as I have had.  but if you know your stuff, do your research, and are prepared for anything, then you will!
