Captain Wendel Haunted Doll ~ 26" Handmade Pilot Cloth Vessel ~ Paranoraml ~ Airline Pilot ~ United Airlines ~ VERY Protective Man

Wendel is a very sweet, very old-fashioned professional gentleman.  It is as if he is still "on the job", and he LOVED that job.  Wendel was a United Airlines Pilot and he was very proud of it.  He is a guardian type of person, very fatherly, and very protective of everyone.  He is "the man of the house" in any house even if there is already a "man of the house".  He just has that natural leadership personality.  He died in a fiery airplane accident and has no problem telling and showing us about it.  He died in the early 70s, and he tells us that he thinks the plane was "downed" by someone.  We looked for terror attacks and planes that were taken down but we could not find any plane wrecks that sounded nefarious like this.  He says he would bet money that the plane was hit by a missile.  We found Wendel through a paranormal researcher in Los Angeles who found the doll at a swap meet.  We have loved him from the beginning, and he was even part of my Daily Show interview, sitting in the background.  So, yes, Wendel has been on television!  My mom used to work for Delta Airlines when I was little, so I used to get to run around airports all the time.  Wendel LOVES to share visions and imagery of all the favorite airports he has been to.  He truly loved Aviation and I think that's why he loved it here, because we are a big travel and aviation family.  We have airplane designers in our family, so we have a lot of airline paraphernalia and collectibles.  He loves airline pins and souvenirs from travel places.  He shares the smell of jet fuel with us!  Wendel is highly communicative, he can change his entire face and it is PAINTED ON.  He gets his point across perfectly.  Captain Wendel shares with us the memories and images of the day the plane went down.  To be honest, the whole thing seems pretty scary.  But he is never trying to frighten us, he just wants us to see what he went through.  He likes to share his life story and is very proud of his aviation accomplishments.  He has a strong distrust for the government and believes they took his plane down and wants to know why.  He seems like the type that needs answers.  This is probably why he is here, this is his "unfinished business".  Wendel is a kind and funny man. like a funny dad, a good person, and a very active ghost.  He loves to tell his travel stories and share dreams with us.  He is an amazing Dreamweaver and he can share snippets and dreamscapes of his memories.  He has a lot of kinetic energy, lots of movements, noises, and temperature changes, and has even shared the sounds of airplane sounds and announcements.  He shows us what flying used to be like back in the day.  They certainly don't feed people the way they used to on airplanes!  He does well with the pendulum, the Ouija, and the PSB-7 and various apps and EVP/EMF devices.  Anything travel or aviation-related is a good trigger for him to begin communication.  He is a very protective man and likes to feel needed.

This doll came from Lisa's personal collection. She has curated her dolls from around the world. Some were picked up while she was on assignment overseas, and some were given to her. Some of them called out to her from second-hand shops. She studies them carefully and observes them for months before making any final assessments of their personality or behavior.
