I love this vessel.  She is so fun loving and happy in it.  But its kind of a big psychological mask.  Flossie is a  nut job, to put it blunt.  I mean, I supposed I can understand why she is this way, but still.  She is not well in the head, but I am not judging, because nobody really truly is "normal".  I love Flossie, and I think she needs a home where she can feel supported and loved, regardless of how insane she might be.  Flossie is short for Florence.  She was sent to us from a friend who works in hospice care down in Florida.  He told us all about his patient, who loved Flossie and spoke to her every day.  He told us that she had asked him to take care of Flossie once she passed away, and he promised he would.  He comes across a vessel or two every now and then, and he has made us realize just how powerful spirit dolls can be for those who are in the last stages of dying.  Flossie had bonded hard with her caregiver.  When that woman died, Flossie "carried her" to where she was meant to be.  She showed me what she meant, and it was a beautiful sight.  It pains me to think about how this woman had to rely on ghosts because her family had abandoned her in a hospice care facitilty.  Unfortunately, we see this a lot.  Flossie stepped up, though, and she tells me she checks in on that woman quite often.  Flossie died in 1953.  She had been dealing with "episodes" of blacking out, paranoia, and even outbursts of violence.  She would awaken in a hospital facility with no recollection of how she got there.  The doctors back then really had no idea what to do with her.  They had not seen this behaviour in a female before.  So they heavily sedated her, and I mean HEAVILY.  You can still feel it when you communicate with her.  A strong wave of tiredness washes over you.  Flossie spent most of her teenage years and her early 20s in and out of various hospitals.  Her parents were distraught.  They thought she might be possessed.  She would have weeks of no symnptoms and then BAM.  Back in the hospital.  The last bout of this was the worst of it.  She woke up covered in her mothers blood.  She has no idea what happened.  In the hospital a few days later, she hung herself with her bedsheet.  She often shows us imagery of her father sobbing.  To this day, she has no idea what happened.  I think she is schitzophrenic.  I think women were harder to diagnose, if they even got disgnoased at all back then.  Flossie thinks she is "waiting to get into heaven" and that "God has to decide if she was responsible for her mothers death after all".  I think this is a way that she deals with what she did in her own mind.  She told us she ran from the light when she died.  She was scared to face judgement in the light.  I can understand that.  Flossie has a scewed sense of religious dogma.  I think she went to church as a kid but stopped going when her pastor wanted to do a full excorcism on her, and her parents said no to that.  Flossie is what we call "toxicly positive".  She is all about not feling the bad emotions and only feeling the good.  We tried to explain to her what toxic positivity actually is, and she just kind of shrugged it off. She reminds me of a Britney Spears if Britney was a 1950s 25 year old. She is extremely active in terms of movements, sounds, and light anomalies.  She freaks people out.  She has such a strange, oddly happy for no reason, awkwardly positive attitude most of the time. Oh, and I almost forgot, she is and was addicted to pain pills.  Dillaudid, Morphine, etc.  Her doctor would give her anything she wanted in hopes of preventing any further episodes, but that never works.  She will collect the pills in your house.  She will find them and pull them onto her doll stand.  It doesn't matter what kind, we can tell she is looking for HER kind of pills.  She is strangely faux-positive all the time, but you can tell it's a mask or a coping mechanism.  You can feel her true mood if you search deep enough.  She needs someone who can understand her.  Flossie likes the Ouija.  She likes to "perform" for people, and she enjoys the energy exchange when we give her attention. Her next caregiver needs to make friends with her, keep her happy, talk to her, and keep an eye on her to help her with her moods and her masking.  Flossie loves anything from the late1950s, especially TV shows that were on back then.  She needs to be cared for by someone who will really put in the effort.  She needs a very attentive spiritkeeper.  She does well with every communication tool we have offered her.  She is an intense Dreamweaver as well.

I can reserve a doll for you for up to 2 weeks while you decide. Email me with any questions you have regarding this doll, or haunted dolls in general.

FYI:  In my old shop, we had to have a disclaimer explaining that haunted items were "for entertainment purposes only" and this disclaimer is needed for some credit card processors as well - However, you need to know, as a potential buyer/adopter that I am NOT responsible for any paranormal activity that you might experience in your home once you adopt a spirit.  This is serious and many people who do not know what they are doing have had some pretty overwhelming experiences usually due to their own lack of knowledge or understanding about what it means to be a spirit keeper.  If you are under the age of 18, please do some research before trying to adopt a spirit.  As a seller, I will repeat, there are NO REFUNDS on haunted dolls - I will not guarantee that you will have the same experiences as I have had.  but if you know your stuff, do your research, and are prepared for anything, then you will!
