Sophia has a lot of baggage, and you would too.  She was found in Moscow and made a huge trip around the world to get to Lisa's hands about a decade ago.  She was part of Lisa's personal collection before she moved and let me take care of her.   Sophia lived and died in Russia.  She was a dancer, even from a young age.  In grade school, her talent was discovered by her coach at school.  She was accepted to train at the prestigious Bolshoi Academy in Moscow.  She had been at the school for 2 years and had 3 more to go before graduation.  The school usually found jobs for these dancers at around age 14 or 15.  Ballet was a big deal in Russia.  It still is.  She was hoping to get a job at one of the better theatres.  Instead, she got a stalker and he made her life miserable before finally attacking her.  The stalker was another student.  Not nearly as talented as she was.  This boy was called Victor and he scared her the first time they met.  She could sense something was wrong.  Mind you, she was 12 or 13 at the time and had lived a very sheltered life at the academy.  She did not understand boys at all.  And she did not understand danger.  Sophia at first was pleasant to him.  But he said things and looked at her strangely and she knew something was not right with him.  So she tried to avoid him.  The school is not very big, so that was hard.  He was persistent.  He did not care that she was just a child.  He was nearly 17 and had not been hired by any of the theatres yet.  I think he was slowly concluding that he did not have a talent like Sophia did.  It was a mixture of obsession and jealousy.  He wanted her sexually and she barely knew what that meant.  He was used to getting his way with the girls, and he could not understand why she was not interested.  This went on for months, and he would begin to show up near her dorm room.  He would show up in her classes.  He would follow her.  She never understood the danger she was in.  She noticed it, but she shrugged it off for a very long time.  When he tried to shove open her dorm door, she was scared.  She told someone.  He got in trouble.  But the next day, he caught up to her and physically assaulted her.  He locked her in the janitor's closet for 2 days.  She was tied up, she could not scream.  He took his time and beat her to death, slowly and quietly, and her body was found by the stench of it.  Victor left the academy and was never seen again, that she knows of.  Sophia was so young.  This was the 1980s in Russia, none of us could ever know what that was like growing up on that side of the cold war.  From her memories we see a lot of propaganda, a lot of militant teaching and living.  Its different than how we lived.  And this school they were going to, it had no protocols in place for rape, stalking, or even harassment.  Women were expected to take it and shut up.  Little girls got slightly more help, as Sophia did, but truly, getting Victor in trouble only made it worse.  I feel so bad for this girl.  Look into her eyes.  you can see the pain.  And its not because of what she went through. Its because of what she lost.  She was a good ballerina.  She was one of the best dancers at that school.  THATS what she lost.  Her dream.  Sophia is still a bit naive on boys and that's totally ok.  We do not want her around teens or men.  She seems to get anxious around teenage boys and some men.  She does so well with other kids and girls though.  She really is a sweet girl.  She is driven, she is talented, and at times, we really just want to dance with her.  She is incredibly active.  She speaks English and Russian.  She is an amazing Dreamweaver, she can show us exactly what happened to her.  She can show us the inside of the school she went to.  She rarely shows us her parent's faces though.  Once she was sent off to the academy, she did not see them ever again.  It was as if she belonged to the school after that.  Very strange.  Sophia does REALLY WELL with direct telepathy.  She can pop right into your head. She likes to use the Spirit Board and pendulum, but if she thinks you need to hear something, she will find a way to make you listen.  She does great with eh PSB7.  You need to be aware that her joints make a strange noise when they move, so prepare yourself for that.
