Verta Haunted Doll ~ 18" Victorian Girl Vessel ~ Paranormal ~ Found in English Attic ~ Killed in WW2 ~ Very Active Spirit ~ Protective

Verta is an amazing young woman.  She is full of hope, intelligence, and a deeper understanding of humanity than most living people.  She is extremely intelligent and self-aware and it's a rare thing to find a spirit such as this one.  This is her 3rd or 4th vessel, she died in 1940 and has been attached to other doll vessels prior, they either fell apart, or broke, and she would just move on to the next available vessel.  We do not find spirits who are this smart, communicative, and self-aware very often.  She was found inside an attic in a house in Leeds, England by a friend of Lisa's many years ago.  Verta is a gem.  She was killed by a soldier, a boy she KNEW from her neighborhood in Berlin, Germany.  She was the victim of an ultimate sexual bullying that started when they moved there.  She was 10 and he was 12.  She had rejected this boy many times, he lived across the street from her.  He was recruited into the German army at 18, and she was glad, she thought she would never have to see him again.  She and her family were from Paris, and her dad had been living and working in Berlin for a few years at that time.  Her father was a scientist.  When things got bad in Germany, her father sent the family away to an aunt in Paris.  Her father had been forced to stay in Germany.  The boy soldier knew the family very well, and he told the father he could help keep his wife and children safe, so the father believed him and told him where they were.  Mind you, this family was not Jewish, they were just a regular family avoiding war by staying with relatives.  The soldier tracked them down when the Nazis invaded France.  Under the guise of "coming to save them," the house was raided and Verta was given one last chance to say yes to this psychotic teen with a gun.  She was only 16.  She said yes, but he shot her mother anyway.  She said yes again, crying, and he killed her siblings.  She got mad and when she stood up, defiantly, he shot her in the stomach.  By this time, the German soldiers were so desensitized to killing they had no issues killing entire families.  To say she has suffered some PTSD would be a gigantic understatement.  She trusts no man.  She can not be in a home with a male caregiver.  She feels betrayed by her father, even though in his defense, he had no idea that his daughter had to reject that boy starting way back when they were 10 and 12.  She feels hunted.  And she was.  She feels like she was in the path of a serial killer, and that is true too.  This kid was a psychopath.  Verta is extremely intelligent for being 16 years old.  It's as if she has been paying attention to all the social and cultural changes that have been happening since she died.  She warns us a lot about the "hints" of war that she sees.  She is worried that another world war is coming in our lifetime.  She tells us that she feels cheated that she has no living heirs.  None of her cousins survived the war, they all fought for the Allied forces and died.  Verta is world-weary and I would be too.  She has seen it all and has kind of a harsh outlook on the future, but she's not wrong about it.  She sees signs that we would not see.  She is VERY protective of women and children.  VERY.  She can turn into a fierce auntie when she needs to.  A younger momma bear.  She wants to save people from war and conflict.  She wants to warn people about psychotic young men.  She is a part of history that we all need to know and be aware of.  In more ways than one. Her presence is large, it feels like static, especially when she is trying to communicate. It feels like "heavy air" and it's a palpable feeling.  We have seen her close her eyes, move her lips, move her hands and legs.  She has spoken loud enough to be heard without the use of tools.  We have heard her talking in French and in German to other spirits here.  She has been very close to other spirits we have had here, she has deep empathy.  The war in Ukraine has been rough for her.  She is very aware of current events.  She communicates perfectly through the tools we offer her.  The PSB7 is her favorite, but the Ouija and Pendulum have been great too.  She loves to draw and we have been able to use Automatic Writing with her.  Verta is an amazing Dreamweaver, and she shows us bits and pieces of her life through dreams.  She has also given us very accurate predictions and we believe she is highly intuitive, and probably was when she was alive as well. Verta is an interesting young lady and we think she would do well in a home where people spend time talking with her and treat her like a living, breathing person.  I don't think I know or EVER knew ANY teenagers who were as smart and aware as Verta is now.
